Waller Involved with the Redevelopment of Nashville's Convention Center

Waller serves as lead counsel for the developers and has negotiated extensive incentive agreements with the City of Nashville, joint venture agreements with equity investors, leasing arrangements with the National Museum of African American Music, and other documentation and agreements necessary to execute this exciting, highly complex project.  Construction is now underway on the $400 million Fifth + Broadway project planned for the former Nashville Convention Center site. The project involves the redevelopment of Nashville’s existing Convention Center into a large public-private mixed-use facility comprising more than 230,000 square feet of walkable shops and rooftop restaurants, a 26 story tower with 385,000 square feet of Class-A office space at 501 Commerce, more than 360 apartment units in 36 stories, and the new National Museum of African American Music. Located on the most prominent corner in downtown Nashville, Fifth + Broadway will become a dynamic downtown destination when it is completed in 2019.
