Waller Lansden announces that the law firm is hosting the 2010 Sustainability Breakfast Series, six complimentary programs focusing on sustainability issues related to city planning, transportation, and the built environment in and around Nashville.
These events will bring together leading minds within the community—business leaders, government officials, and others—who will share their perspectives on a wide range of topics relating to sustainability. Our objective is to get below the surface of the issues, involving differing opinions, and provide fertile ground where innovative ideas can blossom and different parties can work in concert. Each session will include a moderated panel to kick-off the conversation. We invite you to take part in the meaningful dialogue about Nashville's sustainable future.
Below is the full schedule for the 2010 Sustainability Breakfast Series:
Learning from our past successes: A review of Nashville's current and past sustainable building practices and policies.
Green building for Healthcare: Changes in the market.
Striving for energy efficiency and alternative energy: Creating synergy in Tennessee's built environment.
Increasing connectivity: What transportation changes should be coming down the pipeline in Nashville and Middle Tennessee
Retrofitting yesterday's buildings to meet tomorrow's energy demands: To replace or to retrofit-that is the questions?
