As Waller’s Chief Business Development Officer, Morgan Ribeiro works closely with Waller’s Board of Directors and the firm’s industry team and practice group leaders to develop effective strategies and tactics to expand the firm’s market share in key sectors while competing in new markets and industry segments.  Known for being proactive, professional and committed to target-focused business development initiatives, Morgan served as Executive Director of Waller’s nationally recognized healthcare department for three years.

During Morgan's tenure as Executive Director of Waller’s healthcare department, Waller significantly expanded the firm’s healthcare regulatory compliance and government investigations team with the addition of former Assistant United States Attorneys and high-profile litigation and compliance attorneys from private practice and in-house positions. Waller also increased its representation of tax-exempt and not-for-profit healthcare providers through a number of targeted initiatives including an innovative joint venture with healthcare analysts and other professional services providers to assist rural, community-owned hospitals. Waller also launched a new healthcare blog, WallerHealthcareBlog.com, focusing on regulatory, enforcement and market developments within the industry.

Prior to joining Waller in 2014, Morgan served as a Senior Executive Advisor with Jarrard Phillips Cate & Hancock, a strategic healthcare communications firm based in Nashville, Tenn., where she developed and managed campaigns for healthcare organizations, including tax-exempt and investor-owned hospitals and health systems and start-up healthcare technology companies. She worked with healthcare clients across the country through mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and other partnership transitions, certificates of need and a number of complex crises and issues, including patient privacy breaches and public policy debates.
