Stacy has particular experience with health and welfare benefit plans, including the intricacies of Affordable Care Act compliance, plan design and drafting, and evolving guidance regarding wellness programs and consumer-directed accounts.
Stacy also provides practical advice to plan sponsors and insurers on a variety of federal and state laws applicable to employee benefits, including HIPAA, COBRA, ERISA, state and federal securities requirements, state insurance law, and the tax code. Additionally, she advises clients on benefits and compensation issues related to mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions; helps clients navigate governmental investigations of employee benefit plans; and assists clients with negotiating service provider agreements.
Prior to joining Waller, Stacy gained experience in the Atlanta office of Alston & Bird LLP, where she was a member of the firm’s Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Group.
