Helping to ensure that healthcare companies and providers, including hospitals, home health agencies, assisted living facilities and hospice care providers are in compliance with federal and state healthcare regulations (including the Stark Law, the Anti-kickback Statute, HIPAA, and state-specific patient privacy laws), Trenton takes pride in being professional, efficient and personable.
By researching and analyzing federal and state fraud and abuse regulations, and conducting regulatory due diligence, Trenton assists clients in corporate offices and facilities around the country with their operational and transactional matters. He also advises his clients regarding licensure and Certificate of Need issues, requisite change of ownership filings, and other healthcare regulatory matters.
Trenton's experience also includes assisting clients with information privacy and security issues, including state patient privacy laws, HIPAA and HITECH. He has helped in the development of policies and procedures for clients with respect to compliance with federal and state healthcare regulations.
