Trip Nix assists clients across a wide range of industries in complex commercial litigation involving bankruptcy and creditors’ rights issues. His experience includes cases under chapters 7 and 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code. Trip represents creditors in contested matters involving cash collateral and the automatic stay, and he has been involved in adversary proceedings under the Bankruptcy Code. Additionally, he has represented clients in both the purchase and sale of assets in Section 363 transactions.
Prior to joining Waller, Trip gained valuable experience as an associate in a bankruptcy law boutique and as a federal judicial extern for the Honorable Harlin D. Hale in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas.
