Brent Bowman is a partner with Waller Lansden and practices in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, securities and general corporate law.
Since joining the firm in 2004, Mr. Bowman's healthcare practice has included assistance in the representation of a national investor-owned hospital system in the sale, through an auction process, of facilities with a combined value exceeding $500 million. Mr. Bowman also has been involved in the representation of public and private healthcare companies in acquisitions and divestitures of healthcare facilities and joint ventures with physician and physician groups. His experience includes hospitals, physician practices, ambulatory surgery centers, cancer centers and diagnostic imaging facilities.
Mr. Bowman's experience also includes counsel to publicly traded companies with respect to registered offerings of securities, periodic reporting requirements and various capital-raising and strategic transactions. Mr. Bowman also assists companies in private offerings of securities and venture capital financings. In addition, he counsels clients on corporate securities and governance issues.
