Mr. Crider is a partner at Waller Lansden and leads the firms Labor and Employment group. His entire legal career has been dedicated to labor and employment litigation and counsel for companies.
Mr. Crider represents companies of all sizes in various industries, from some of the world's largest employers in manufacturing, healthcare, transportation, retail and grocery, to various hospitality companies, start-up companies and family-owned businesses. Mr. Crider's trial experience includes jury verdicts in several federal court age discrimination cases under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA) and the Tennessee Human Rights Act (THRA) and cases involving alleged violations of the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA). Mr. Crider has litigated matters ranging from complex multi-plaintiff claims involving the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) to jury trials involving alleged violations of Title VII, the ADEA, the FMLA, the ADA, USERRA, and common law retaliation. He frequently assists companies of all sizes in non-compete and related business litigation, including negotiation and drafting of employment agreements.
For his work in labor and employment law, Mr. Crider has been recognized in the current edition of America’s Leading Lawyers for Business (Chambers & Partners) as a rising star.
