Monica Futrell is an associate with Waller Lansden and practices in the area of commercial real estate. Her practice focuses on the acquisition, financing, development, and disposition of real property. Ms. Futrell’s experience includes drafting and negotiating commercial real estate and financing documents, including purchase and sale agreements and retail, office, and ground leases, performing due diligence and conducting closings. She has also represented both landlords and tenants in commercial leasing transactions involving, among other things, shopping center space, wireless telecommunications facilities, general office space and healthcare facilities.
Ms. Futrell's recent experience includes representation of:
A publicly traded retailer in the negotiation of a large volume of leases for sites located across the United States
A national restaurant chain in the acquisition, leasing, operation, and disposition of locations
A national wireless communications company in multiple asset purchase transactions of cellular sites, network infrastructure, site leases and associated network equipment across multiple states.
