Shelby Hartmann is an attorney with Waller Lansden and practices in the area of commercial real estate law. Ms. Hartmann currently represents landlords and tenants in various commercial transactions involving general office space, shopping center outparcels, in-line retail space and healthcare facilities. Ms. Hartmann has extensive experience in the healthcare industry with the leasing of medical office buildings as well as the sale and acquisition of hospitals. She also represents clients in the sale and acquisition of improved and unimproved property. Additionally, Ms. Hartmann’s experience includes the negotiation of cellular lease agreements for a national wireless communications provider.
Prior to her real estate practice, Ms. Hartmann provided counsel on federal and state regulatory compliance issues to clients in a wide range of industries.
In addition to her legal career, Ms. Hartmann is an accomplished triathlete, competing successfully on both national and international levels. Ms. Hartmann holds a Level I coaching certification in the sport of triathlon issued by USA Triathlon, and she has coached numerous athletes in swimming, biking and running.
