Travis Parham is a partner with Waller Lansden and practices in the area of general dispute resolution. Mr. Parham serves as co-leader of the firm’s Trial and Appellate Litigation practice. For the past three years, Mr. Parham has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America® (Woodward White, Inc.) for his commercial litigation experience. He is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
Mr. Parham represents major corporations across a wide range of industries as well as individuals in federal and state litigation. His experience includes lender liability disputes, real property disputes, contract disputes, business tort claims and claims brought under securities law.
Mr. Parham has served as counsel in numerous bench and jury trials, both within and outside of Tennessee. Mr. Parham's trial experience includes the successful defense of an investor against charges of insider trading brought by the Securities and Exchange Commission: Mr. Parham won a jury verdict in the client’s favor in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Mr. Parham also successfully defended a regional bank against charges of lender liability in a nine-day bench trial held in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee.
Currently, Mr. Parham is representing clients in matters ranging from simple breach of contract claims to complex, multi-party class actions.
