MaryEllen Sullivan Pickrell is a partner at Waller Lansden where she leads the firm’s corporate practice comprised of more than 40 attorneys and paralegals. Ms. Pickrell practices primarily in the area of mergers and acquisitions, and she is recognized in The Best Lawyers in America ® (Woodward White, Inc.) for her work in corporate law.
Ms. Pickrell has extensive experience representing healthcare companies, both privately held and publicly traded, in the acquisition and disposition of healthcare facilities throughout the United States. Ms. Pickrell currently focuses on acute-care hospital transactions. Many of these transactions require regulatory approval, including acquisitions of not-for-profit hospitals subject to Attorney General review. In the past year, Ms. Pickrell was counsel to transactional matters with an aggregate value in excess of $350 million.
Ms. Pickrell’s healthcare experience also includes the acquisition of physician practices and the representation of hospice providers and providers of renal care and dialysis services in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and other corporate transactions.
