Barrett Sutton is a partner at Waller Lansden. Mr. Sutton practices primarily in the areas of commercial real estate, corporate and finance transactions. He is recognized in The Best Lawyers in America (Woodward White, Inc.) for his experience in real estate law. Mr. Sutton represents clients in connection with the formation of business ventures and the acquisition, management, financing, and disposition of commercial properties. He has represented developers, syndicators, development and construction lenders, permanent lenders, property managers, and end users of commercial, industrial, residential, and retail projects.
Prior to joining Waller Lansden, Mr. Sutton was a member of the Nashville law firm, Yopp & Sweeney, PLC.
From 1995 through 1997, he served as Executive Vice-President of General Capital Corporation and Gen Cap America, Inc., managing private equity investments in leveraged management buy-outs and commercial real estate.
