Charley Williamson is partner at Waller Lansden. He is the firm’s Hiring Partner and serves on its Diversity Committee. He practices in the area of trial and appellate law, with an emphasis on complex commercial litigation and healthcare litigation. Mr. Williamson has represented major corporations in a wide variety of complex commercial matters, including issues of breach of contract and antitrust law. He has broad experience in non-competition litigation, negotiating executive compensation and severance agreements, and general business litigation.
Recently, Mr. Williamson successfully arbitrated a dispute between joint venture partners in outpatient surgery centers; prosecuted a major insurance billing dispute involving world-wide manufacturing companies; and enforced non-competition agreements for national companies in both the hospice and banking industries.
Mr. Williamson also has significant experience representing employers from a broad range of industries in federal and state court cases, including class and individual claims of race, sex, age, disability and religious discrimination, whistleblower, wrongful discharge and retaliation. He provides day-to-day management and strategic advice to clients in a wide range of industries, including policy review and application and internal investigations.
