Heath Fite is an attorney in Waller Lansden's trial and appellate litigation practice located in the Birmingham office. Mr. Fite represents financial institutions, including banks, mortgage companies and finance companies, in a wide range of commercial disputes involving consumer and commercial borrowers. His experience includes defending corporate clients in lawsuits involving state law claims as well as federal claims, including the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), the Fair Credit Report Act, (FCRA), the Credit Repair Opportunity Act (CROA) and the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA). Mr. Fite also counsels automobile dealerships with respect to compliance with federal and state lending and insurance laws. Prior to joining Waller Lansden, he practiced as an associate with Burr & Forman, LLP in Birmingham, Ala.
