Anne Marie Kempf is an attorney with Waller Lansden practicing in the area of commercial real estate. She assists a national wireless communications provider with the development, leasing and acquisition of network facilities throughout the country.
Prior to joining Waller Lansden, Ms. Kempf was a sole practitioner providing title opinions for lending institutions and real estate purchasers. She also handled various commercial transactions including multistate land acquisitions and financings as well as real estate development and public-private partnership transactions, including tax-incentive financings.
From 1996 to 2003, Ms. Kempf served as City Attorney for the City of Jeffersonville, Ind. In this capacity she was responsible for all transactional documents for city agencies, including ground leases and public-private partnership lands sales for more than $400 million in economic development projects, municipal bonding and other financing. Ms. Kempf also directed all litigation in which the city was involved, and she supervised outside counsel and acted as primary counsel in annexation and zoning matters. Prior to this position, Ms. Kempf was in private practice in Indiana focusing on real estate and transactional matters.
