Colleen Sweeney is an associate with Waller Lansden and practices in the firm's Labor and Employment group, where she concentrates her practice in the areas of employment law, labor relations and all employer/employee-related issues. Ms. Sweeney provides counsel to employers in a wide range of industries in matters involving Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and the Tennessee Human Rights Act. Her experience includes responding to EEOC charges involving allegations of race discrimination, gender discrimination, sexual harassment and retaliation. She also has defended governmental entities in employment issues and matters involving alleged civil rights violations.
Before joining Waller Lansden, Ms. Sweeney was an associate with Dickinson Wright PLLC where she focused her practice on employment litigation.
