Robert Sweeter is an associate in Waller Lansden’s Finance and Restructuring practice focusing on commercial finance, bankruptcy and corporate restructuring. Mr. Sweeter has represented solvent and distressed companies, Chapter 11 debtors, official creditor and ad hoc committees, and secured and unsecured creditors. Additionally, he has provided counsel to investors in distressed debt and acquirors of distressed companies and assets. His experience includes Chapter 11 bankruptcies and out-of-court restructurings covering a wide range of industries, and Mr. Sweeter has extensive experience in federal court proceedings relating to bankruptcy and restructuring matters.
Prior to joining Waller Lansden, Mr. Sweeter was an associate in the New York and Miami offices of White & Case, LLP and the New York office of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy, LLP where his practice focused on financial restructuring and insolvency.
