James Bowden is an associate in Waller Lansden’s Corporate practice. His experience includes transactional matters including mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, and corporate finance as well as general corporate law. Mr. Bowden’s experience in the healthcare sector includes assisting a private equity firm in its acquisition of a wound care provider operating in seven states; assisting an investor-owned hospital company in its acquisition of two nonprofit hospitals; and assisting a publicly traded healthcare services provider in the acquisition of a behavioral healthcare facility. Outside of the healthcare industry, Mr. Bowden’s experience includes representing a privately held transportation software development company in its acquisition by a competitor. Additionally, Mr. Bowden advises clients regarding periodic reporting required by the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, and he recently assisted an electronic payment services company in a reverse split of common stock.
