Energy and mining companies rely on Waller as common counsel in federal Superfund case

A group of high-profile industrial companies were identified as potentially responsible parties in connection with a federal Superfund site that has been described by an EPA administrator as "one of the most polluted urban water bodies in the country." The group includes multinational oil and gas corporations, a mining company and an electricity and natural gas delivery company.

Representing the group collectively as common counsel, Waller attorneys continue to negotiate directly with the EPA and state and city environmental agencies with respect to the Remedial Investigation and Feasibility Study (RI/FS) being conducted by the group and the overall strategy for the site.
