Financial institution resolves consumer protection, deceptive advertising allegations

A financial institution sought representation when it was sued by the New York Attorney General for a variety of claims, including consumer protection act violations, deceptive advertising, and other claims.

Waller represented the financial institution in bet-the-company litigation when it was sued by the New York Attorney General. Waller conducted an investigation, litigated at both the trial court and appellate levels, and was able to conclude the matter on terms very favorable to the institution.
