Carter-Haston Real Estate Services acquires The Shay for $80 million

Carter-Haston Real Estate Services acquired The Shay, an apartment building in oneCITY, the mixed-use area of downtown Nashville. The Shay includes 276 apartments, making the deal equivalent to $292,000 per unit. This makes the price per residence the highest in Nashville history.

Waller represented Carter-Haston in the acquisition and worked to create a tenant in common structure to facilitate 1031 exchanges, making this matter complicated.
