Leading vision care provider positioned for growth at intersection of retail, healthcare

A leading vision care provider based in Irvine, CA, is supported by a private equity fund. The company operates a network of independent optometry practices, which provide eye exams, disease diagnosis, glasses, and contacts to patients. The company currently has over two dozen locations and is continuing to acquire other practices.

Waller designed and executed on the company structure which the firm helped build from employee zero, requiring resolution of a variety of employee benefits, supplier and other complexities to integrate two dozen independent practices in California. The firm's attorneys have represented the vision care provider in all of its practice acquisitions and in unique and critical negotiation with payors, manufacturers and suppliers as these groups are seeking vertical integration.
