Real estate investment firm avoids environmental liability, negotiates possible terms of sale

A private equity real estate investment firm sought to prepare 106 acres of industrial park on the Cumberland River in Nashville, Tennessee, for mixed-use development.

Waller advised on the matter and worked to ensure the future developers in the area would not have environmental liability. Waller is now assisting the firm in negotiation of environmental terms of a potential sale agreement to facilitate development of a major corporate headquarters campus occupying the entire site.
