Waller defends Winnebago against finder’s fee claims

In 2016, Winnebago Industries Inc. received an unsolicited suggestion that it should acquire a privately-owned company that manufactures towable recreational vehicles. Six months later, Winnebago acquired the company for $500 million. The individual who made the acquisition suggestion claimed they were entitled to a $7.5 million finder’s fee and filed a lawsuit.

Waller defended Winnebago against the claims.
