Skyscraper owner defends against construction damage claims brought by neighboring building

A skyscraper owner-developer was involved in a lawsuit filed by a neighboring building owner claiming damage occurred in their underground parking garage as a result of blasting and excavation during construction of the skyscraper.

Waller successfully represented the skyscraper owner by filing an indemnity action against the general contractor and subcontractors who performed the blasting and excavation work, after which the contractors' insurers agreed to fully defend and indemnify Waller's client.
