Dental services organization prevails in arbitration with dentist related to contract termination dispute

Our client, a dental services organization (DSC), had a contract with a dentist based near Nashville, Tennessee pursuant to which the client provided office space, employees and other services. The client and the dentist disagreed regarding their rights and obligations under that agreement. The client terminated the agreement. The dentist alleged that the client had breached the parties' contract, thereby entitling him to millions of dollars of compensation.

Waller represented our client in a week long arbitration in New York. The arbitrator found that the DSO did not breach its agreement with the dentist, was not required to pay for his practice and owed him nothing. The arbitrator also ordered the dentist to pay the DSO's attorneys' fees and expenses.
