Training facility company makes efforts to recover on default judgment against the company

A training facility company leased a medical office building space in Homewood, Alabama. The landlord attained money judgments against the training facility and its parent company in the amounts of $737.6 million and $479.9 million, respectively. The landlord-plaintiff pursued collection and enforcement of the judgments against the parent company through successor liability claims that included, among other things, alleging in an unfiled complaint causes of action against the parties for successor liability, alter ego liability, fraudulent transfer, unjust enrichment, civil conspiracy, and aiding and abetting.

Waller assisted its client in settling the dispute with terms favorable to the parent company and in protecting the assets of the parent company.
