Apparel company files breach of contract dispute

A large apparel company that sells a wide range of products, including uniforms, protective apparel, footwear and branded apparel for its licensors, accused one of its client brands of breach of contract. The suit alleged that the company’s client had breached the exclusivity component of the sponsorship agreement between the parties by allowing one of the apparel company’s competitors to display certain advertising signage at an event. After the suit was filed, the parties engaged in settlement discussions and ultimately reached an agreement.

Waller represented the apparel company in the breach of contract dispute, filed in November 2018, and assisted the company and the accused brand in coming to an agreement.
