The Roman Catholic Diocese of Harrisburg filed for bankruptcy protection in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, listing assets at between $1 million and $10 million and financial liabilities of up to $100 million. Waller serves as primary debtor’s counsel to the Diocese.

As debtor’s counsel, Waller is advising, counseling, and assisting the Diocese in all aspects of its Chapter 11 case, including refinancing of indebtedness incurred in connection with the acquisition and construction of a Catholic high school, restructuring of business and financial operations, and negotiation, mediation, and resolution of claims by, and insurance coverage for, survivors of abuse.
