Radio Systems Corp. acquired by Clayton Dubilier & Rice (CD&R)

Radio Systems Corporation, which was founded by Randy Boyd in 1991 and is one of the world's leading dog and pet products suppliers, was acquired in July 2020 by an affiliate of Clayton Dubilier & Rice (CD&R), a private equity firm. Radio Systems designs and distributes more than 2,000 pet products under the brand names Invisible Fence, PetSafe, ScoopFree, SportDOG and Kurgo, including pet containment, pet doors, pet training and pet waste management products. At the time of the transaction, Radio Systems had more than 800 employees worldwide helping the company reach consumers across the Americas, Europe and Asia.
