Weaver in Women to Watch by Nashville Medical News

Nashville Medical News

Jennifer Weaver was named among the 2021 Class of Women to Watch by the Nashville Medical News. She one of 12 women in the Nashville area recognized as leaders in their fields who are working to create a more efficient, effective healthcare system.

Jennifer told Nashville Medical News, "No matter how big a healthcare company is, they are always the underdog going up against the government…The government has the power to not only impose dollar fines and penalties, but they can exclude providers from participating in federal healthcare programs, which is the death penalty for almost any healthcare company." She added, "You are not on a level playing field against the government, which is a huge challenge."

She enjoys that challenge, and told Nashville Medical News that she truly loves helping providers navigate a difficult, scary run-in with the government with thriving practices.

Women to Watch honorees will be celebrated at an event later this year.
