Healthcare providers have faced obvious burdens over the last two years, and the coming year includes its own challenges.

As Jesse Neil reports, telehealth is a wildcard for 2022, as 2021 saw decreased levels of use compared to 2020.

Jesse also notes that on the investment side, "Valuations are strong across the board, and behavioral health, telehealth, dental and healthcare IT are of particular interest for private equity firms and other investors."

Home healthcare and new payment models are driving significant innovation in healthcare, and there is certainly more to come on that front in 2022.
