Nick Rew has been involved in many M&A transactions within the healthcare industry since his arrival at Waller in 2009. Nick has experience representing both buyers and sellers in deals ranging in size from single physician practice acquisitions to large health system acquisitions and everything in between. In completing such deals, Nick has represented all manner of clients including public companies, private equity backed companies and smaller physician owned companies.
Since joining Waller in 2009, Nick has quickly earned a reputation in the healthcare industry as an attorney who can navigate complicated healthcare regulatory and business issues to get deals done effectively for his clients. Companies rely on Nick's experience and creative problem solving to effectively close deals.
Over the past several years, Nick has completed a multitude of add-on acquisitions on behalf of practice management companies.
Served as lead transaction and healthcare regulatory counsel to Gastro Health in the acquisition of Digestive Disease Associates, a leading gastroenterology practice serving the D.C. Maryland, and Virginia area.
Served as legal counsel to North American Partners in Anesthesia (NAPA) in its acquisition of American Anesthesiology, a MEDNAX, Inc. medical group.
Represented Direct Radiology in the sale of its teleradiology platform to Royal Philips.
