Represented Southeast Financial Credit Union in lawsuit against an Indiana-based corporation and its primary shareholders and officers following a failed business relationship that left SFCU exposed to numerous government investigations. Secured a favorable settlement from the corporation’s CEO in bankruptcy court in Las Vegas while mitigating the credit union’s exposure to claims from attorneys general across the country.


Financial institution resolves consumer protection, deceptive advertising allegations

Defended a financial institution against allegations of consumer protection and deceptive advertising, which included conducting an investigation and litigating at both the trial court and appellate levels. The matter concluded on favorable terms.

Serve as common counsel to a group of high-profile industrial companies identified as potentially responsible parties in connection with a federal Superfund site.


Multinational energy company involved in an Underground Storage Tank investigation in Tennessee

Served as co-counsel to a multinational energy company during a UST investigation by the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation and Tennessee Attorney General's Office. The work included negotiations and discussions with the Attorney General's office and TDEC regarding CID, production of documents, and substantive allegations, including extensive legal analysis.
