Focuses on complex bankruptcy and out-of-court workouts

Courtney Stone assists companies and lenders in distressed situations with preparation and successful completion of chapter 11 restructurings and sales, as well as out-of-court workouts, debtor-in-possession financing and other default and insolvency-related issues. 

Courtney has extensive experience in bankruptcy and restructuring matters; she has represented both lenders and debtors in out-of-court restructurings, debt settlements and credit facility compliance matters. Prior to joining Waller in 2017, Courtney gained valuable experience in the Houston office of Weil, Gotshal & Manges where she assisted a number of companies in complex financial restructurings and corporate reorganizations under chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code.

Courtney is licensed to practice in Texas and Tennessee.
