Josh Porte advises publicly traded and privately held companies in connection with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint venture agreements and other strategic business and fundamental transactions. Josh counsels private equity firms and other investors with respect to investments in dental, medical, physical therapy and other healthcare-related enterprises. He has extensive experience in implementing management relationships to assist with the deployment of capital in these sectors.
Additionally, Josh advises cannabis and industrial hemp cultivators, and operators and distributors with respect to securities offerings, corporate structuring, mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracting and other transactional matters.
Prior to joining Waller, Josh gained valuable experience as a corporate associate with Dickinson Wright PLLC in Nashville and Fredrikson & Byron, P.A. in Minneapolis. Additionally, he served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Priscilla R. Owen, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit in Austin, Texas.

Assisting HCA Healthcare, one of the nation’s leading healthcare providers, in obtaining majority ownership in the parent company of Galen College of Nursing.
