Abbey represents global, national and regional lenders, agents and borrowers and lenders in finance transactions spanning a wide range of industries, with particular emphasis on healthcare including loans to owners and operators of skilled nursing and other senior living facilities. Abbey's experience also includes cross-border and multi-currency facilities, as well as advising private equity firms and their portfolio companies on a wide variety of financing transactions. She has also represented real estate developers in transactions including tax credit programs and capital raised under the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program.

In 2018, Abbey was recognized by M&A Advisor with an Emerging Leader award for her work in acquisition financing and turnaround transactions. Prior to joining Waller, Abbey was a principal in the Washington, D.C. office of Miles & Stockbridge P.C., after beginning her legal career in the New York offices of international law firms, where she gained valuable experience in complex leveraged finance and capital markets transactions.
